I selected this salon at the suggestion of my friend and supervisor/boss, and I am sincerely satisfied. Carrie has an amazing staff! They were fun and conversational. In all the years that I’ve donated my hair, never have I felt so catered to and pampered; thanks so much for the transformation, Jess!! Y’all can count me as a return client; I, too, would definitely recommend Lemon Tree Hair Salons.

I brought in pictures for my first appointment with Carrie, and she took time in asking questions and pinpointing what cut I wanted. I truly appreciate that, especially since this is a cut I am so happy and PLEASED with! She explained what she would recommend and I am happy with the skill and artistry she used to style my hair.

Carrie did an absolutely amazing job on my hair! I came in having an idea of what I wanted done and she went above and beyond! Great conversation and very welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back. ❤️

Update 2026: They have moved out of the mall and changed their name. I see Carrie, the Manager, and she is so nice! She does a great job. They have great prices and a relaxed atmosphere. 2018: The hairstylist I got was young, so possibly inexperienced. She was nice enough but she cut my hair very uneven and way shorter than I had requested. She also nicked my neck and I bled. I had to go get it fixed elsewhere. I realize I should have gone back and asked her to fix it instead of writing this review, but I was scared to let her near my head again. I'm sorry but I hope this helps someone avoid my situation.

Just moved here from PA. I have natural 3B-3C curly hair and I am very skeptical about getting my hair done. Finally made the leap of faith and Carrie gave me a lovely haircut(trim). Very friendly and wonderful person!

Once again another AMAZING appointment with Carrie! Not only has she straightened out a botch haircut I got from a different salon but she helped suggest a different color for me since I was bored of my plain brown. I wanted something vibrant but also natural and professional. She did a FANTASTIC job! The color is so pretty and my hair feels even healthier now after a conditioning treatment! I recommend Lemon Tree and especial Carrie to everyone!

I'd just got a nightmare of a hair cut at another salon and was hesitant on going to anyone to get it fixed. I was left with chunks missing and unevenness everywhere.There are many reviews raving about Carrie so I took a leap of faith. I was NOT disappointed! She was fantastic and took her time to even out and blend the chunks that had been done previously. She explained how to style it so things look as best as they can while my hair grows out. This was a very pleasant experience and they have a friendly atmosphere. I now know where I'll be going from now on for my hair. Thank you so much Carrie for making my hair look better again without resorting to chopping a bunch more off!

I am beyond satisfied with my experiences at Lemon Tree. All hair services are very affordable. All staff are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. They are informative on the best way to care for my hair and recommending products/services that will keep my hair healthy. I have been getting perms for over 10 years. This is the first salon to recommend a keratin hair treatment that makes my perm last an entire extra month and has greatly helped with keeping my hair moisturized and healthy. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for fabulous hair and fantastic service.

I went to Lemon Tree Salon in Johnson City for the first time today, and had my hair cut by Carrie. My hair is mostly straight, with some hidden waves here and there, and silky-fine texture. In other words, it's very unforgiving of a so-so cut. Carrie gave me the best cut I've had in YEARS. I've gone to several stylists, in all price ranges in our area, and Carrie gave me the best cut out of them all. She's a lovely person, too. The salon is pleasant, has parking right in front, and is easy to get to. I will definitely be back!!
