Coloring Lemon Tree Hair Salon in Patchogue, NY

Came here for my first time ever for a straight trim. A young girl Julia cut my hair just how I asked for it. No complaints...will return.

I had a near disaster hair dye experience but thankfully Colleen and Jackie were there to help. I went here for the first time to have a stylist do a whole head application of Artic Fox hair dye. Colleen began applying and when she asked Jackie to open the second bottle for her, Jackie noticed it was a different color then what we had already applied. All 3 of us were in shock and horror because the color that was already applied was a super bright red compared to the color I actually wanted. It turned out that Sallys gave me 2 different dye colors. The situation was exacerbated due to the fact that I'm getting married on Tuesday so now was not the time to experiment with mixing colors. Without freaking out, Colleen immediately and calmly offered a solution to try and blend the two colors together. Both her and Jackie were first off so sympathetic to the situation and reassured me that we will figure it out and that the colors should blend nicely because they were in the same color family. As I sat there processing, and calling Sally Beauty to let them know the situation they put me in, I began to feel more and more anxious and upset but Colleen and Jackie continued to reassure me that everything will work out. When I asked about possibly coming in to fix it the next day, Colleen right away checked the schedule to check availability and even though she was going to be off, offered to let her manager know the situation so we could remedy the worst case scenario. When it was time to wash it out, all 3 of us were anxious to see the result, but both of them made me feel instantly relieved when they said the color was actually beautiful and definitely not magenta like Sallys told me it would be. Colleen happily dried a section from the bottom half of my hair and my crown area since those two sections would have been the most different due to the dye situation. I felt so much better and relieved once seeing the end result cause the color actually came out beautiful, not what I initially expected but still something I could work with for my wedding day. By the time I left, I felt like I made two new friends and they even told me to come back in and show them wedding pictures lol. They were both so kind, compassionate and supportive through the whole situation and if they were anything but that I would have severely freaked out. Before my actual appointment, I ended up calling three different times and each time Colleen and another women I spoke to (dont know their name) were so friendly and didn't get annoyed that I kept calling to figure out an appointment, that's what ultimately led to me choosing this location because of their great customer service over the phone, especially compared to other Lemon Trees I called. I also want to mention that Colleens application and sectioning was flawless, compared to the hair stylist I seen at the Lemon Tree in Ronkonkoma a few months ago who applied the dye to my hair in one large section leaving very obvious dry spots. Overall my experience was filled with ups and down but I left happy and Colleen saved my hair, I'm so thankful for the both of them and will definitely be returning ! Thank you Colleen and Jackie =)

Colleen is a fantastic hair stylist!! My silver hair was making me feel washed out so I booked a cut and lowlights. Colleen has an experienced eye for color; she matched my original undercolor perfectly. She took her time and meticulously added lowlights. Her effort is much appreciated as everyone who has seen it says it looks entirely natural and it does, she matched it that perfectly. She gave me a great cut and blowout too and I walked out of there a new woman. Highly recommend, especially for specialized color and highlighting services. I couldn't be happier, thanks a million Colleen, you're the best!!!

Great prices and nice staff.

Excellent place, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The owner was present and she is very sweet. I took my daughter for her hair cut and myself for hair color, cut and blowdry along with waxing. The entire process was super smooth and quick. I would definitely come back next time and would highly recommend it to other people.

Need to invest in larger towels to cover your clients back when washing hair. Mine was the size of a washcloth and my back got soaked. I had 2 layers on (soaked thru both) this is a pic of the outer one. Came in with a cold leaving with pneumonia. Couldn’t stay for the haircut cause I was freezing. 10 degrees outside. Stylist was accommodating and apologetic. Hair color turned out great. Last time tho

Today I had an appointment with Colleen B at the Patchogue lemon tree. She did an amazing job on my cut and blowout she was so gentle and she had a great personality.The price was great too. I definitely will be booking with her again.

Place is really big and nice, I did have to wait a bit but it was alright with me. The lady who did my hair did an amazing job and made my hair feel so nice afterwards. And the cut is amazing I love it so much yall should def check this place out and the price was much lower than other places

Sophia did a great job giving me a ‘new look’ , with very little beyond ‘I’d like it short and highlighted’ to go by. I love my new ‘lo-lights’ and carefree style! Thank you Sophia!!!

I go to Amanda she is very talented. I enjoy going there everyone is very friendly Update. I been going a long time to lemon tree. The ownership has changed over and I still went to Amanda. Well I had an appt just this week that I needed to change by one day. I called and rescheduled the appt and hung up believing it was with Amanda. Come to find out I called when Amanda left and they never told me she was no longer there. Ok so you thought you had me but I did find out before my appt time I called to cancel I told you why I was cancelled and you then precede to tell me I don't have an appt on the calendar. Come on I wasn't born yesterday you were going to have me come in and think I would just go to someone else. Not gonna happen I wouldn't use a business that is run by lies and sneakyness

jackie b is amazing and the sweetest. she washed, trimmed and french braided my already layered hair and by the time she was done, you wouldn’t even have known i had layers, that’s how good it looked! lemon tree has such a friendly atmosphere and i felt so comfortable the second i walked in. i definitely recommend jackie and lemon tree. i will for sure be coming back.
