Just went back to Lemon Tree, it’s ridiculous that we are charged almost $300-$500 at a lot of places, so ridiculous, I used Toni at Lemon Tree and my highlights and color are amazing! I love it and loved her! My new place🎉🎉🩷🩷

It has got $8 for haircut on Monday/Tuesday. I always have had buzz cuts (no. 2) each and every time. They charged me $5 in two occasions and $8 for several other occasions. I wish they would charge me $5 consistently.😁. Maybe, some barbers did some trimming (but there was not much to trim after a buzz cut) and they considered it slightly more than a buzz cut ?! But $5 or $8 is the cheapest anyway. Sometimes, or often , they have coupon for $5 one level buzz cut. Then, it's certainly $5. Mar. 2025: I have used the one level buzz cut in Centereach Lemontree often . I like it !!

Omg!!! I love this place. I am actually a NY er who moved to Jersey and now I come to this specific lemon tree in Holbrook to just get my hair done. Rosa does my coloring and highlights and my cuts. She does it beautifully and takes care of me every time. She has my color mixes saved and I don’t even have to tell her what looks good on me because she knows. This is the best place ever.

I went to get a haircut this morning and had an excellent experience. The girl who cut my hair did an excellent job. I don’t remember her name but she had a lot of tattoos. Needed a haircut last minute and she did a fantastic job. She only charged me $5! Cheapest haircut I ever got! It was great! Go to Lemon Tree in Holbrook if you need a last minute haircut! Well worth with! Thank you!

I just had my first visit to Lemon Tree in Mamaroneck. Christina M was my stylist. She gave me a beautiful hair cut! I came in with photos of the type of bob hair cut I wanted and she gave me exactly what I wanted. The cut and style was so much better than my previous cut from a much more expensive salon. I will definitely be back!

Update 2026: They have moved out of the mall and changed their name. I see Carrie, the Manager, and she is so nice! She does a great job. They have great prices and a relaxed atmosphere. 2018: The hairstylist I got was young, so possibly inexperienced. She was nice enough but she cut my hair very uneven and way shorter than I had requested. She also nicked my neck and I bled. I had to go get it fixed elsewhere. I realize I should have gone back and asked her to fix it instead of writing this review, but I was scared to let her near my head again. I'm sorry but I hope this helps someone avoid my situation.

I got a layered haircut from Hailey at Lemon Tree, and she was absolutely wonderful. She consistently checked in for feedback and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire appointment. You can truly see how passionate she is about her work. I absolutely love my haircut! The pricing here is very affordable, and the salon itself is clean, bright, and welcoming. If you have Hailey as your stylist, you’re definitely in great hands, you’ll walk out feeling extremely satisfied.

Got a haircut with Michele and I absolutely love it, she was very communicative and warm and my haircut came out exactly how I wanted. The staff is very pleasant, even the front desk and hair washing. And finally the price was extremely reasonable which is hard to find these days. Will be back!

I haven’t been to get my haircut in sooo long and with two kiddos it was quite neglected; Laura made my flat lifeless looking hair SUPER volumized while keeping the integrity of my hair and health of it too! She did amazing and was super communicative through the entire process! Such an amazing experience! My hair has never looked this beautiful and full of life!!!

I’m picky about where I go to get my hair cut because I have really thick hair and that unfortunately tends to result in me leaving with an uneven haircut (not from Lemon Tree). However, I decided to take a chance on Ana and she did me right!! From beginning to finish, she was kind, knowledgeable, and understanding. After looking at my inspiration photos, she asked me specific questions to tailor the cut to exactly what my hair needs/goals are. I left the salon feeling pampered and amazing about the way I looked. Since, I’ve gotten so many compliments about how healthy my hair looks. Additionally, it was SO affordable! I did not have to compromise quality for affordability here, which I appreciate so much. I am absolutely recommending Lemon Tree Ronkonkoma and will be going back. 5/5 stars!!

I got a Japanese Straight Perm from Megan and it was an amazing experience! I am very happy with the results and looking forward to not having straighten my hair so much! She also gave me a haircut to cut out all the damaged parts, but she was able to keep it long! My hair looks really shiny and a lot healthier than before! Thank you, Megan!

After a recommendation from a friend I decided to see her hairdresser Sondra. I needed a change and boy she did ever give me the greatest haircut!! She listened to what I had in mind and was very attentive while cutting my hair and asking my preferences. By the time she finished, she did a better job than even I imagined. No more blow drying....just a bit of curly leave in conditioner and a wave of my hands thru my hair and she finished it off with some curling mousse and DONE! She gave me back 1/2 hour of my life. She is excellent and extremely attentive and made my life 100% easier with my new haircut. I HIGHLY recommend her!!

I went to Lemon Tree at the end of Jan 2026. It was my 1st time going there. It's a very cute, clean salon. Essie & Fatima were so sweet & friendly! Essie did my hair cut & color, & I felt like a new person afterwards. I had strong grays coming in, & my hair color was so many different tones. Essie got me all fixed up! The prices were MUCH more affordable than the place I went to before. Plus, Lemon Tree is more convenient for me!

Laura was awesome! The hairdresser I had been going to for years retired and I’ve been trying to find a new stylist that knew how to do a feminine pixie cut. She was fast and friendly and I couldn’t be happier. I have very fine but thick hair with 3 major cowlicks and she gave me exactly what I was hoping for. I had her take some photos before I left without any product and without styling it (I like to shower after getting my haircut so I declined that opinion that was included w/ my haircut) Anyways this is how it turned out.

I personally haven’t been to this location yet but I was in the Sayville location last night where Colleen was (she is between both locations). I wasn’t able to write a review on the Sayville page since I already did so in the past. The girl who usually does my hair went home sick and I was asked if I want to reschedule or have Colleen do my hair. I took the chance and gave her a try and I’m so glad I did. It was a simple color, cut and blow dry but when it came to the haircut, she really listened to what I wanted, made sure I was ok with the length and just really took her time over all. I will definitely schedule with her again!!

Lisa is a rare find, and I am so fortunate to have found her. I started going to her about three years ago, after a move from out of state. She is phenomenal as a stylist, as well as a colorist.I know, because she's worked magic with my hair doing both. Each visit has become a sure thing—I know when I walk out of there I am going to be smiling....

Madison created such a welcoming environment from the moment we spoke and that meant a lot to me as I've always been so anxious, especially when it comes to others touching my hair. She walked me through the necessary steps in order to get me to my dream hair and did a wonderful job executing it. She is absolutely amazing! She was able to take my hair from a muddled colored mess to a beautiful blonde that felt soo soft and I'm grateful I found her. Will return for her!

In the last 6 months, I started taking my kids to Emily and I was so impressed with her calm demeanor and such great kid cuts! I was also in need of a new stylist so switched over to her and I have been really pleased with her knowledge and help correcting my color and haircut. She's so sweet and kind but also knows what she's doing with hair color and what looks best for a haircut. We appreciate her!

i’ve gone to emily three times now for my highlights and i absolutely love how my hair looks. she’s so kind and engaging with her clients; and listens to what im wanting and gives feedback on what she thinks might look better for my hair. my hair always feels and looks amazing when i leave and i get SO many compliments after i get my hair done. i will continue to see her to do my hair and recommend her to anyone i know

I took my son in to get a perm. Setting up the appointment was quick and they were able to get us in faster than I expected, which is great for a family that is always on the go! Emma took great care of my son (12 yo) and positively engaged in conversation topics that he found interesting. She seemed excited about working with him on a perm (most stylists we have encountered before dread perms…). I was slightly concerned about the professionalism of conversations from another stylist in the shop, but overall this was the best processing appointment I have had with any of my kids!!! We will be seeking out Emma for our future perm needs!!

Was in a pinch and needed a haircut last minute and Dianna saved the day! She gave me exactly what I asked for and textured my hair perfectly. So glad I hopped in her chair.

Susan worked quickly and was friendly. She also stepped in when there was some kind of scheduling error with the online booking. Also can’t beat that $12 haircut, including tip! The check in on the iPad was nice and easy and the place is decorated very nice. Definitely like Lemon Tree’s newer rebrand here.

Went in without an appointment and Laura was able to get me in same day without much of a wait. Every year I do a big chop to start fresh, which can be a big/daunting change. Laura set me up with a great cut that will grow out perfectly throughout the year without the need for crazy upkeep. Can’t wait to come back in for my trims 😁

Marissa was absolutely my LIFE SAVER. One of the best master color stylist I've ever been too. I went in looking like Ronald McDonald ( due to my stupidty & box die ) 😂and came out looking like barbie right before a very important business meeting & my engagement party !! So professional, sweet and amazing with hair. Jules the hair shampoo girl was adorable & gave an amazing scalp massage. Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved the way Stephanie did my hair.if you ever need a hairstylist that knows exactly what she is doing? I would go to her. Not only does the best hair coloring I've seen in a long time. When she blows out your hair , she does not need to use a flat iron afterwards. That's how good it comes out.

America gave me a bob haircut and stunning balayage. I felt so cute and confident, and at least 10 years younger! Emboldened by my new look, I finally got the courage to meet with my boss and ask for a promotion. I couldn’t believe it, my boss promoted me and gave me an opportunity to take a job in New York City!!! That weekend my friends and family took me out for a farewell party and I met the man of my dreams! He is moving to New York with me and we are getting married!!! Just kidding, that kind of stuff only happens in movies, not in real life. But if you want movie quality hair in real life, go see America!

My GOTO place when I get a haircut.

I went in for a double process color to baby blonde. The results were perfect! All of the staff were welcoming, friendly, and professional. They explained the steps of the lightening process and always made sure I was comfortable. Excellent service for a good price!

Not the best haircut this time around. It was shorter than I asked. Once it dried, I noticed a lot of longer pieces. I'll try someone different next time. Update to 5 stars. Donna did a great job! My haircut was perfect, exactly what I asked for. Length was perfect and there were no strands longer or shorter than the others. Thank you Donna
