I have severe anxiety so getting a haircut is hard for me. I was worried about it but once I sat down, I realized I didn't have to be! My stylist, Libby, not only did wonderfully with my hair, but also made sure to let me know I could do whatever I needed to do to keep myself calm while she worked. I had a lot of icky hair on my head, especially near the ends, and she did amazing at getting it off while still giving me the haircut I wanted (even with how nervous I was). 10/10, would recommend!

I got my hair done with Hope and she absolutely killed it. She did a color correction service on my hair and gave me the most perfectly blended blonde foliage. I am obsessed. I will forever go to her for any hair needs. She was also so kind and took her time to make sure everything was perfect.

I had such an amazing experience with Noelle at Lemon Tree Hair Salon! She made me feel comfortable and listened to exactly what I wanted from the start. I have long hair and was nervous about losing too much length, but she completely understood the vision I had in mind and executed it perfectly. Loved this hair salon! I am very picky when it comes to who I trust with my hair, but I was well taken care of! Everyone was so sweet and welcoming. Michelle did amazing on my hair I absolutely love it! She took her time and took great care of my hair I had it super long and was ready to chop it off, I wanted a cute short hairstyle and she got exactly what I was envisioning ! She is the sweetest! I was a customer of lemon tree, Rocky Point, and Meagan did my hair great! But I had to leave, because I could no longer get an appointment with her, because they told me she only books 6 weeks out. Well I moved on and now have a great beautician now!

This is the best salon ever. The place is awesome inside. It is so cleaned. Essie, my hair stylist is the best ever. If you bring in a picture, she cuts exactly as the picture. Coloring is so good. I have had hundreds of people say they love my hair. Go to the salon, you will not walk out disappointed. You will be a new woman.

I originally booked at Ulta but read the reviews and it scared me away. Came to lemon tree as a walk in and I’m so happy with my hair. It was so long and my ends were terrible. Kim cut and styled my hair exactly how in wanted it. I’m free from my long hair burdening me and I’m so confident and happy. For the photos; what I wanted, now much we cut, the end result.

I just visited Lemon Tree for the second time and I’m completely sold! Jessica did an amazing job with my ombré color the first time and my highlights this time. I brought in inspiration photos, but I’ve always been of the mindset that stylists aren't magicians; sometimes pictures just don’t work for your hair type in one session. However, I’ve been completely blown away both times. I’ve always sought out stylists who are more concerned with preserving the health of your hair over trying to make something unrealistic happen in one visit. Jessica did a fabulous job reaching my hair goals while keeping my hair healthy. To top it off, the prices are some of the most reasonable I’ve found—even compared to stylists who do a mediocre job. Yenelly was amazing with my two year old’s hair cut experience which also left me satisfied! We usually go to Cookie Cutters at Jupiter but after today’s visit at Lemon Tree I figured that perhaps a less overstimulating hair cut establishment was best just like Lemon Tree! We love the staff there and Yenelly was patient and gave me and my toddler time to settle without forcing to start the haircut asap which makes a huge difference. At the end of the service, my two year old was very happy to see (his hair was in his eyes) and I was delighted walking out of there with a happy two year old! Thank you to Yenelly and the ladies of Lemon Tree for being so kind, patient and supportive.

Went in to get highlights. My first time coming here. Jen serviced me and the salon was clean and everyone was friendly. It was an enjoyable experience and left with hair I love! Gave an inspiring picture but I like my actual hair more than the picture!

I am so, so happy with the way that Chrissy literally RESURRECTED my hair! She gave me a trim + coloring + blow out and was soo kind, patient, accommodating and personable. All the other reviews that talk about the quality of her service and how friendly she is are 100% true. I’m so happy I went with her!! She used a razor to trim my hair and it was so impressive! I was treated because this was a birthday gift, but I believe the total came out to be over $200. I’m extremely happy with it! I think I was between a level 3/4 and Chrissy was able to give me my dream hair color!! I am not exaggerating when I tell you all that every day I say out loud to people that I’m in love with my hair now, lol! My confidence and self love is at an all time high. Look at these pictures: before, right after I got home, and then a week later in the same spot as the before pics… even with the muggy weather in the last ones you can tell how stunning the result is. I’ve never been more happy with anything to do with my hair in my life.

I’ve trusted Chiara with my hair for years, and she never disappoints. No matter how I arrive, she always works her magic by bringing to life anything from simple styles to more adventurous ideas. She’s also incredibly precise with eyebrow waxing, which I admittedly don’t keep up with as I should. She’s wonderful with younger clients as well. Emily was awesome. She verified my name and introduced herself. I needed a trim the day before my father's funeral, but changed my mind mid trim for a full on haircut which Emily graciously accommodated. She was very friendly, personable and helpful and we had a nice talk. Thank you Emily!

For the second time, I had my highlights done by Haylie. The result was wonderful!! I do LOVE my highlights. All my friends complimented my hair. Besides Haylie being an excellent professional who instills confidence in her work, Haylie is sweet and kind. I highly recommend her work.

I have naturally wavy hair and wanted layers with bangs, but I was honestly nervous about trying bangs. D’Asia worked magic. I’m obsessed with how my hair turned out. The layers look amazing, my length is still there, and everything just falls so nicely. She checked in with me before every step and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She’s so sweet, patient, and really listens to what you want. I couldn’t be happier with the result. Highly recommend!

My first visit to LemonTree and with Ashley. I was so very happy with the way she cut and styled my hair. Very rarely have I found a stylist who understands what you want and does exactly that. Found her to be so pleasant and easy to work with. I am very happy to have found her and will reschedule again soon.

Chrissy did a full highlighted on my hair and it came out so pretty! The blend is seamless and it’s the perfect amount of chunky and blended. She paid really close attention to detail and this is the blondest my hair has been!

I booked a last minute appointment for my daughter and was able to get in within 24 hours for a haircut and partial highlight. Amberose was incredibly friendly and did an absolutely beautiful job on my daughter’s hair. The highlights were the perfect shade and exactly what we envisioned. It was our first time at Lemon Tree and we will definitely be back, not only for my daughter, I will also be booking an appointment with Amberose for myself too!

Scheduled in for a Perm, but mostly wanted to see if it could be done on my hair. Angela informed me that on my hair it simply wasn’t the right time and explained why. We talked for a bit more and settled for a colour touch up. I had a great time chatting and getting my hair done. I loved the outcome. Amazing staff, will definitely come again.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my mom since she’s not very tech savvy.. but she made it very clear this needed to be said. She has been going to Amelia for over five years now and truly can’t imagine trusting anyone else with her hair. From day one, Amelia has been nothing short of amazing. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also one of the sweetest, most genuine people you could ever meet. Over the years, Amelia has done everything for her.. coloring, highlighting, cutting, and blowouts and every single time my mom leaves feeling so happy and confident. She always says she has never once had an issue. Amelia listens, she cares, and she consistently delivers exactly what my mom is looking for (and somehow even better). What really stands out is the experience Amelia creates. She makes my mom feel comfortable, welcomed, and truly taken care of. It’s more than just getting your hair done.. it’s something she genuinely looks forward to every time. One of our favorite memories was when Amelia dyed my daughter’s and son’s hair blue. It turned into such a fun and meaningful experience for them and they still talk about it. That kind of impact says everything. The lemon tree in Oneonta is a great place to get a cut whether you have short or long hair, looking for a fade or a color service their friendly and experienced staff will get you taken care of and you’ll leave feeling happy. I especially enjoy seeing Madison for my fades and to get my men’s eyebrows done!

Katelyn is so amazing!! After an unpleasant experience prior with another stylist, Janice I believe was her name, I was hesitant about coming back. She’s friendly throughout the service and creates a great atmosphere for her clients. Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair!

I’ve been going to Mandy for years, and I trust her completely with my hair—to the point that I let her decide what to do, which I’ve never let anyone else do before! She always does an amazing job. Mandy is fun, talented, and pleasant, and the entire staff is always welcoming and friendly. I drive 50 minutes just to come here, which says everything about how much I value their service. I’ve never gone anywhere else since finding this salon because I know this is the place for me. Prices vary depending on what you have done, but I’ve always found them very reasonable. I had the most AMAZING experience at Lemon Tree Sidney New York and I’m still obsessed with how my hair turned out. I went in to fix brassiness with toner and a gloss, plus an even-out cut with layers—and I left feeling like I had a full transformation moment. The whole salon vibe is warm, welcoming, and so comfortable. It’s honestly like walking into a place where everyone actually wants you to feel beautiful and confident. The stylists are not only talented, they’re truly knowledgeable and intentional. They listened closely, explained everything in a way that made sense, and gave real advice about hair health instead of just rushing through a service. I felt seen, heard, and taken care of from start to finish. What really blew my mind was how attentive they are to hair health. They noticed changes in my hair that I had honestly been brushing off as “normal” hormonal thinning from IVF—but they encouraged me to get checked out. Because of that, I went to a doctor and am now finding out there are actual medical issues I would’ve completely ignored. That level of care goes WAY beyond a salon visit. Naomi is the sweetest soul ever and insanely talented for her experience level—like seriously, a hidden gem. Emily’s highlights are pure magic, the kind you catch yourself staring at because they’re just that good. And Ashley leads the team like a boss—supportive, involved, and always lifting everyone up to be better and grow. Overall? This place is giving confidence, care, talent, and a little bit of “rainbows and glitter exploding with every blow-dry” energy (in the best way possible ✨). Absolutely incredible experience. 🥰😜

I love the Lemon Tree in the Hannaford Plaza in Oneonta. It’s a great atmosphere and everyone is very friendly. My go to is Mandi. She is absolutely fantastic. I love that. I can set up appointments in advance no more fighting over her.

My last visit to Lemon Tree in Catskill I wanted a total change. My hair had a lot of dead ends and I needed a color change. My stylist (Catelinn) recommended a different color shade and a change in the cut. The end result was fabulous. I really felt like a new person. I often will go 1-1.5 years in between haircuts because everyone I’ve gone to at other salons has cut it way too short and I just found the whole experience irritating and overly expensive considering the disappointing results. However, I made an appointment an few weeks ago with Emma and she not only checked in with me several times before actually cutting anything to make absolutely sure she was at the right length, she made the whole experience super fun just jamming to early 2000s music while she worked! I’m not sure how often I actually should be getting haircuts but I won’t be waiting nearly as long now and I’m booking with Emma every time!

I have been going to the Selden-Centereach location for some time now. The prices are so reasonable. Dawn does a phenomenal job cutting, coloring and blowing out my hair. Love the way my hair comes out every time! The staff are all very friendly.

Had an AMAZING experience here with my stylist, Rae. I was getting my hair professionally colored for the first time, and she was so patient, explaining the process to me, making jokes, and calming my nerves about such a big change.
