My daughter's and I have been going to Mary for over 25 years. Mary is a fabulous hairstylist. The staff at Lemon Tree is always friendly and welcoming. My daughter drives down from upstate so Mary can do her hair I always get compliments from women who like my hair style or cut. Mary is the best.

I have never felt as comfortable in a salon than I did at the Lemon Tree on Thursday! The down to earth vibe of the salon was the best part. I went in and was genuinely welcomed by Lisa, even though I was running a few minutes late.I was immediately washed by Vincia, a total sweetheart. She gave me a gentle head massage and we had such a lovely conversation. Dawn and Agatha were both amazing as they created an incredible updo for my SHORT hair for the trial for my vow renewal. They were so kind and patient with me because I didn’t have any reference pictures or direction in general. I showed them a picture of my dress and they created a masterpiece! Mary’s input and help added to the most beautiful hairstyle. I can’t wait to the big day to have these talented women to help me feel like a queen. I have already recommended Dawn to several of my friends. She is a wonderful, positive and talented hairstylist. I found my new forever salon.

I have been seeing Dawn for my haircut she is so sweet and very accommodating. She listens to how you want your haircut I love that about her.

After procrastinating for a year and a half to get my haircut, I was so happy that my first visit to Lemon Tree today was such a good experience. I easily made an appointment online. I didn't have to wait long before Dawn greeted me and had my hair washed. She listened carefully to my needs, looked at some pictures, offered some good advice and gave me a wonderful haircut. And, on top of all that, the price was so reasonable. I'll definitely be back and I won't wait so long for my next cut. Thanks, Dawn!

I was tired of paying a lot for a simple haircut, my friend suggested lemon tree , even cheaper then my husband’s barber plus they have coupons. Not only was it inexpensive but Mona gave me one of the best haircuts of my life. I have very fine hair that sits so flat and depresses me , she cut it and I instantly had volume and made my hair look so much fuller!! The staff were friendly, the place was full. I made an appointment online easily and just picked 1st available! So happy i did . Place is a little dated but thats ok their prices are incredible.

Such kind ladies work here. I took my daughter for a designer cut and nearly fainted but her hairdresser, Rosa, was so kind and gave me her granola bar from her own purse and a bottle of water to help bring my sugar level up. I appreciated the kindness so much, not to mention she did a wonderful job cutting my daughters hair so beautifully.

I went yesterday and Stephanie did my hair shes a gem..Shes a pro did my hair highlights cut straighten..shes does it effortlessly what a pro..she will be my go to stylist..you would not think lemon tree ..But they are very proffessional..this is a real review..

Agatha cuts and blows out my hair to perfection. Rosa is an incredible stylist with a blow dryer after a very attentive hair washing by the beautiful (inside and out) and professional, Vincia. Lemon Tree in New Hyde Park is tops in all around care for your hair female or male (my sons have gone here too😉)

I’ve used both Rosa and Heather and they’re both terrific hairdressers (coming from a hairdresser). They both give great haircuts.

It was my first time doing color with Stacy and she effortlessly executed what I had imagined. She was professional and very kind. I will be definitely coming back’

I've been here several times and had my haircut by Stacey, who does a lovely job and is very sweet.

I normally come to this location to get my haircut, about once a month, but I was recently here getting my hair dyed and Rosa was fantastic. She helped me choose a color which was different than my original plan, but she explained to me exactly why and the environment overall was calming and full of positivity.

The staff is so friendly and professional. Stacy was so sweet and knew what I needed.

I have gotten my haircut here for several years. I am very happy with the professional way that the business is handled and the expertise of the hairdressers. I have been getting my haircut by a hairdresser named Hana. I have gotten a great haircut from Hana and very good professional advice about my hair. She is the best.

Yesterday I got hair cut from there that lady did Okk but not good , but today I went again to fix my hair from Agta she did very nice job. I would recommend to all if you go there ask Agta. She fixed my hair so nice . I really appreciate her. Thanks Agta❤️❤️

I'm someone who neglects my hair and just has difficulty finding the energy to take care of it. I come here now and again for a simple wash and cut. Dawn is always lovely and easy to talk to. She checks in to see how you're feeling throughout the cut and at the end to ensure you're satisfied. The other staff here are also pleasant. I love Lemon Tree's competitive pricing. Parking is a hassle in front of the building sometimes so I'd recommend just parking in the residential blocks and just walking. I highly recommend.
