On April 1 of this year, I visited the Riverhead Lemon Tree. I called up to get a waxing my eyebrows and I really wanted to get a haircut as well. I wanted to see how I like the shop because I live in Bayshore. I have never been to Riverhead Lemon Tree. I’ve been trying to call back ever since my experience to rave about the beautician that helped me a very sweet woman by the name of Alba waxed my eyebrows and I asked her if I could get a haircut if they weren’t too busy and she said yes, in fact Alba responded back that she Could in fact cut my hair. I have been trying to reach the salon for the last three or four weeks now to complement what a marvelous job. Alba did both waxing my eyebrows and cutting my hair. I had never had a haircut where my head just fell into place when I brushed it. I have been using Lemon Tree for more than 50 years now I don’t live out in the area that I happen to be in that day . I was exceptionally happy with my eyebrow waxing and I explain to Alba exactly how I wanted my hair done. I had tried to style it that morning, but it was pretty fog gone. I once had a beautician that used to tell me Gina it’s a Scissornot a magic wand,! In fact, that was Ray Simone of the race, Simone Shop in Lindenhurst many years ago she was also an amazing hairstylistbut. I am Sending the highest praise possible to Alba never in my life have I gotten so many compliments on my hair still two months later I’m getting them. I will be in the area tomorrow and was hoping to visit the shop and making an appointment with Alba if possible. Many years ago, I add a hairdresser that I would go every couple of months and she would’ve cut my hair. She was a real spitfire back then I would bring in pictures from a magazine and tell her OK. Can you make me look like this when I leave and I still can hear her response Gina this is A scissor not a magic wand! Than we would laugh Shout out to Ray Simone of lindenhurst we had some fun times back in the day, but I must say with Al cutting my hair she turned that scissor into a MAGIC WAND! No one has ever before. Cut my hair as good as Albert, did she listen to every single thing I asked her to do when I left the shop. I’ve got complimented from the first time. I came home up until today still two months later I’m trying to first of all thank you for AMAZING Transforming your scissor into a MAGIC WAND ! I wanted to tell the managers there how that I would travel again to go to Riverhead just to get my haircut by Alba unfortunately it seems they’re not available for appointments at the moment if you get this email, my name is gina kennedy I was there. I believe it was May 1. My phone number is on file at the salon, I’m hoping to hear back to see when they’re going to reopen and to make another appointment with Alba. I wanted to give the phrase and my thanks to Albra I was planning on possibly going out that waytomorrow. Please let me know if and when the shower will reopen and if I can possibly making an appointment with Alba whenever she’s available I would appreciate a text back. I do go to lemon trees in my area and I always get a nice haircut but Alba cut my hair like she’s been doing it my whole life wherever you are Alba God bless and I hope I hear back to see you again soon. Had my hair cut with Alba. She was fantastic! I’ve had my hair cut with a few different stylists here but Alba did such an incredible job. I will be booking with her again.

My girls and I have been going to Gigi for 2 years now and I truly cannot complain. Shes so friendly, caring, happy, positive and overall professional! I love how she interacts with my girls and makes them feel valuable about themselves. Aside of her personality, she is very talented and knows what she’s doing! She gives the best haircut advice and she gives amazing hair cuts. Everyone else is also great! The front desk representative always had a smile.

I recently visited Sophia for the first time, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! She’s an incredible hairstylist who really listens to what you want while also offering expert advice. The whole appointment felt relaxed and professional from start to finish. I was a bit nervous since it was my first time at this place, but Sophia made me feel comfortable right away. The haircut turned out exactly how I wanted, with attention to every little detail. The pricing is also very reasonable—depending on what you need, it ranges between $20-$50, which is a great deal considering the quality of service. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend Sophia if you’re looking for a talented and friendly hairstylist! (She is on on Mondays and Saturdays!)

My first time calling for an appointment I was told different times available, the cost and sounded very much like helping me with all my concerns. Very pleasant and nice to speak to, didn't feel rushed, thank you for your time with me!!!

Fast and inexpensive

Rosalie was terrific! I just wanted the back of my hair trimmed, and wound up with a new hair stylist! She corrected my usual cut, restyled it and gave me pointers on how to use paste! I loved her and will definitely be back!!

I always get exactly what I ask for and at an AWESOME price!My spiral perm came out AMAZING and my curls have lasted an entire year without any issues. No breakage, no damage, no empty pocketbook!My last trim was easy and fast and less than $35 including tip...which was EARNED!

Mostly a friendly place... I only go to my favorite hair dresser.. I get the "very European attention ". SHE takes her time and does my hair properly... no rush jobs. You need to select the person your comfortable with and be assured of a great haircut... her name is Aura.. check her out 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

Fantastic prices BUT, my hairdresser is why I go there. Great place, friendly, many hairdressers. Full service salon . They are run perfectly. I throughly recommend this salon.

I went to one of those High-End Hamptons salons for a run of the mill balayage and Trim. They absolutely ruined my hair. Dakota at the Lemon tree was able to fit me in (in the middle of Prom week, no less) to fix me up and make me look and feel like myself again.  She's an absolute color champion.  She's the most talented hair dresser I've ever been to. I have a habit of going into the salon for cuts and saying "do whatever you think is best" and I ALWAYS leave more than satisfied.  What's really impressive is that the cut looks great the day I walk out of the salon, but two weeks later it somehow looks even better. Jessica is also really incredible. When I can't get Dakota, I'll head to her immediately.

This place is great and Aura is the best! My hair is very thick and very long and she did a great job. Its like watching an artist when she cuts hair. She is great and I recommend her to everyone!

I very rarely write reviews, but since I was so happy with the way my hair turned out I felt I needed to give credit where it was due. My stylist was Dakota. I went in for a root touch up and a haircut. I brought a picture of the cut I wanted. She talked me into getting some highlights added to break up the root color (as they always do) and, even though it wound up costing about $30. more, it was well worth it!  She picked out the perfect base color and the highlights turned out the perfect color. Also, she made sure she didn't overlap onto already damaged hair. I am EXTREMELY FUSSY about my hair and was shocked that It turned out so perfect!  She is confident and experienced. I highly recommend Dakota!

I have very think and curly hair. I had Elizabeth do my hair and she LISTENS! She even asked me if I wanted a double shampoo, something I've never been asked before. She uses a lot of product to get all of your hair. Gave me a perfect cut for my curly hair and it was a perfect cut for even when I straighten my hair. Her experience comes from herself and her kids so she definitely knows what she's doing!

I had a long hair and decided to have it cut/bob cut style. The hair stylist's name is Elizabeth. She is very good. I will be coming back again. :)

I am giving Lemon Tree 5 stars mostly because I love the speedy service, walk in availability and flexible hours. It's hard for me to schedule hair appointments at salons that book months in advance due to my crazy hours at work. Both times I have been in I was lucky to work with Jessica. She is a great girl who's skills are magnificent! I get a full head of blonde highlights and she matched my highlights to my outgrown summer sun color perfectly. Her knowledge and professionalism set her apart from other places I've had my hair done. Will be returning again and again!

i had gotten my hair done and wasn't quite pleased with it. I let it fester for 2 days and then called the salon to fix it. They were more than willing and when I went in they didn't hold it against me, in fact treated me like a usual customer and 3 of the women that worked there discussed what should be done to give me the results I wanted, the attention was lovely. The end result- beautiful! Exactly what I had explained and I felt that they rectified the situation as every business should. I'm very pleased and I will be back!

Not the friendliest welcome from the front desk or shampoo girl.  This is my second time here and the girl who cut my hair did a fabulous job.  For her alone I would give 5 stars - she knew exactly what I wanted from the picture I provided and did a great job!At $35 for a wash, cut, and blow dry I'll definitely be back!

Took my 18 month old here for a haircut - the stylist was extremely pleasant and did a fantastic job!! She was quick and accurate. Can't really beat $15. I would definitely come back for a kid's haircut!!

I was so pleased with the Lemon Tree at Riverhead.  I ended up there rather by chance, as, although I am in the process of moving, I was desperate to get my hair done as soon as possible  before starting a new job and could not wait to schedule an appointment somewhere. I was a little concerned when I walked in as it appeared somewhat run-down - I can't exactly put my finger on it, but it was not new and spiffy.  I spoke with the helpful receptionist and he told me haircuts were $17 and that I should take it seat by the sinks in the back.  After a little wait - there were 3 people ahead of me - I received a very nice and vigorous shampoo by the shampoo girl.  I was then directed to a chair near the front and the stylist came to greet me.Again, I was a little concerned, as she cut my hair while sitting down.  Not that I can't empathize, as I wouldn't want to stand all day, either.  After cutting my hair, she asked me if I wanted it blow-dried, and I said yes (assuming correctly that this would be an additional cost).  She gave me a nice blow out and trimmed it a little more.  The total came to $22, and you certainly can't beat that!  Moreover, I am extremely pleased with my hair cut - it looks great, and is exactly what I wanted.  I just may try the Lemon Tree near my new apartment!
