I’m writing this review on behalf of my mom since she’s not very tech savvy.. but she made it very clear this needed to be said. She has been going to Amelia for over five years now and truly can’t imagine trusting anyone else with her hair. From day one, Amelia has been nothing short of amazing. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also one of the sweetest, most genuine people you could ever meet. Over the years, Amelia has done everything for her.. coloring, highlighting, cutting, and blowouts and every single time my mom leaves feeling so happy and confident. She always says she has never once had an issue. Amelia listens, she cares, and she consistently delivers exactly what my mom is looking for (and somehow even better). What really stands out is the experience Amelia creates. She makes my mom feel comfortable, welcomed, and truly taken care of. It’s more than just getting your hair done.. it’s something she genuinely looks forward to every time. One of our favorite memories was when Amelia dyed my daughter’s and son’s hair blue. It turned into such a fun and meaningful experience for them and they still talk about it. That kind of impact says everything. The lemon tree in Oneonta is a great place to get a cut whether you have short or long hair, looking for a fade or a color service their friendly and experienced staff will get you taken care of and you’ll leave feeling happy. I especially enjoy seeing Madison for my fades and to get my men’s eyebrows done!

She is understanding in what I’m looking for and takes time to ensure it’s done to the best of her ability, whether it’s a full color, highlights, or just a trim. She’s friendly throughout the service and creates a great atmosphere for her clients. Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair!

I’ve been going to Mandy for years, and I trust her completely with my hair—to the point that I let her decide what to do, which I’ve never let anyone else do before! She always does an amazing job. Mandy is fun, talented, and pleasant, and the entire staff is always welcoming and friendly. I drive 50 minutes just to come here, which says everything about how much I value their service. I’ve never gone anywhere else since finding this salon because I know this is the place for me. Prices vary depending on what you have done, but I’ve always found them very reasonable. Madison created such a welcoming environment from the moment we spoke and that meant a lot to me as I've always been so anxious, especially when it comes to others touching my hair. She walked me through the necessary steps in order to get me to my dream hair and did a wonderful job executing it. She is absolutely amazing! She was able to take my hair from a muddled colored mess to a beautiful blonde that felt soo soft and I'm grateful I found her. Will return for her!

10/10 can’t wait to go back again. I usually only get a hair cut once a year and just chop it off because I haven’t found a stylist worth spending time with but Katelyn 100% changed that for me. From the hair wash to cut (she did exactly what I pictured in my head for years) to getting me in for the blow out. I felt like a whole different person after. Truly changed my whole outlook of myself. I can’t wait to see her again! I haven’t had a favorite in YEARS. She makes me want to prioritize my self care finally.

Went to make an appointment for a haircut. As mine was long overdue. I asked him to take a lot off. My hair was almost to my butt. I asked me multiple times threw out the process what I wanted. Which I appreciated. Very nice upbeat personality. Very pleasant person. Even asked me at the end of the hair cut if I was happy w the end result. It was a little shorter than I expected but he did a very nice job and I still loved the end result. I will definitely ask for him to cut my hair again!

Jozef was an absolutely wonderful stylist. I haven't gotten my hair done professionally in years because of one bad experience and he made the process so easy. He constantly checked in with me throughout the service and really listened to what I wanted. I am so happy with the results and feel like an entirely new person! Went today to get haircuts for two of my kids. My 6 yr olds hair was cut by Madison. He has special needs and is non speaking. She was AMAZING with him and gave him a very nice haircut while he was moving the whole time. She was patient and understanding. If I could give 100 stars I would. My 19 yr olds hair was cut by Christina. She talked with him about college and kept him chatting the whole haircut. She is amazing with a great personality. I will 100% be coming here again. Wow! What a fabulous job Katelyn did with my old lady hair! I walked in looking like Betty White, and after Katelyn's expertise, I walked out feeling like PINK!! She checked in with me every step of the way, making sure she knew exactly what I wanted, after showing her a couple inspo photos. She was on point!! I love her energy and attitude! We laughed throughout the entire appointment. The 1st photo is the before shot, and the rest are all the magic Katelyn worked on my head! She knew exactly how to manage my natural curls, and get the cut just right. Because of her terrific skills, I can style my hair several different ways or even just let dry naturally in its crazy curly way, and it looks great! Got my haircut with Katelyn K. for the second time today. She is lovely to chat with and always does her absolute best to make sure you get exactly what you want. I am very picky and constantly say I like it one second and then I dont like it the next and no matter what she goes with it and makes sure I get what I want. Totally recommend her if youre interested in something more alternative aswell shes incredible at doing more modern stuff!

I absolutely had to come back and leave a review for Madison. She was extremely kind from the beginning of our visit, even prior getting to watch her interact with her other guests who she did at the same time as myself. I watched her transform the other woman from coming in worried about her haircut being so long to fully transforming her into a beautiful highlighted shoulder length haircut that left the woman leaving with a giant smile. Then it was my turn to get my hair done and throughout the entire process, Madison was personable, professional, and kind. I haven’t been to a hair salon in several years due to my sensory overload issues and from the beginning, she was very patient with me and even asked me questions along the way to help me get through all of the steps I needed to have a successful hair appointment. I came into the salon with a two-tone color needing to be transitioned into an all black layered haircut!she gave me amazing layers, and my color is fully saturated across my hair with no blotches spots or missing pieces! I definitely think it was a good choice on lemon tree bringing her from her prior location to this location as she truly has made the place a very welcoming safe place and her work is amazing !!!! I was trying to get a haircut Saturday I went to four places and was turned away simply because I was wearing a bookbag and my coat was dirty I was ready to give up but Katelyn greeted me with a big friendly smile I felt welcomed she did a great job with my haircut I just started a new full time job and was looking to get a haircut so I could look nice for work thank you Katelyn for treating me like a human being not an animal shame on everyone else

Stylist was great, very sweet girl. I took a star away for the company policies. When booking my appointment I chose long, thick hair which is understandably more expensive. But what I disagree with and feel is ridiculous, is that you get charged for every bowl of product after the first. So, you are getting double charged for extra product, crazy. Anyway, my highlights look great but I probably will not be returning because I feel they price gouge. I’ve never paid as much for highlights.

I’ve been to the stylist Christina quite a few times now and I love not only her service, but her as well! She’s a pleasure to be around and does amazing work. My request was vibrant pink hair, so I took this idea to her and because I did still have some previous blue color left on the tips of my hair, she came up with the idea of purple as well. The result is GORGEOUS!!! (My hair didn’t take very well to the colors at first but with patience and an extra session, we got the desired results.) Attached I have a before, mid, and after. Highly recommend this place!

Katelyn was amazing and so funny. I had super dead hair from bleaching my hair and box dying it multiple times this year. I knew I had to get a cut and take care of it. I've had long hair for years so I was very nervous about having short hair again. Katelyn gave me the CUTEST haircut with layers and made short hair look amazing on me! Loved the curly blowout she gave me and the products used. It only cost me $46 for the trim and blowout with a college student discount. I'll definitely be going back to get my highlights done.

Kim Sperbeck is awesome!! I’m one of those people who never cuts their hair because I’m terrified of losing the length. I've had so many people chop my hair off. Kim not only kept the length, but she put long layers in my hair which really made it healthy and shinier, feel better, softer and fall better. She listened to my concerns and what I wanted done to my hair, and she did a great job on it. For someone like me, who would rather go to the dentist than get their haircut, I highly recommend Kim! I recommend her to anyone - she’s a great stylist and really pays attention to what her clients wants and makes really great suggestions as well.

I got highlights done here by Kamylle and she did a wonderful job 🤩. She took her time, made friendly conversation with us, and was a fun time! Very clean, relaxing salon.💇🏻‍♀️

Christina is the first hair dresser that I have seen in a long time. She was great with me the moment I sat in her chair. She finds solutions when I talk to her about concerns for my hair or questions and she will find a way to give you what you're looking for with your hair! I've gotten highlights and haircuts from her and she has not disapointed me once. She is a very warm and relaxing person to talk with as well so it's not awkward silence! And she will never do anything you would not know about behind your back as she is doing your hair. She also accommodates well for sensitive scalp(s) or any other issues a customer may have!

Saw Sabrina today who gave me a beautiful trim and new bangs (which I’m obsessed with). She was super patient with me as we found the right length for my bangs and was super personable. I will definitely be going back to her next time!

I absolutely adore the crew at Lemon Tree in Oneonta! The care and service are on point. I made an appointment for a mother/daughter day for my daughter's birthday and they went above and beyond to make sure that it went beautifully.

It was easy to get an appointment and when I stopped in a bit early, Virginia took care of me and I was very happy with the haircut. Nice shop, nice people, reasonable prices, and a good haircut.

This is the FIRST TIME ever coming to a Hair Salon. And I Really Enjoyed coming Here! 🍋🌳 I had Amelia. She was very Kind and Polite. My Appointment was at 8:00am. I came in and The Salon was Super-Duper Clean, and Inviting. I met with Amelia, and she told me I Could Put my Little Guy down anywhere I’d like. Then she started talking to, and was super playful with him. I really enjoyed that just in itself- Especially because my Son is a Social Butterfly. She didn’t Ignore Him and Pretend he didn’t exist. She treated him Like a Person. 💓 We sat down, looked in the mirror, and discussed. I informed her that I don’t want to do anything too Drastic, as I Have My Wedding in September. I don’t want to Dye, I want to get my hair cut, and I Also wanted to try curtain bangs. I haven’t had them since I was 10, and Pinterest Inspired me. She explained to me about my Hair. How thick it was, How to cut the length, what’s most desirable to me, and what outcome I want! The Possibilities, and Outcomes according to my Hair Type and Texture. She did a REALLY great job with Explaining herself, and making her next move known. Then, she brought me over to the Hair Washing Station, and started to gently wash my Locks. She really knows how to keep the conversation going! We talked about Argon Oil, and how this is my First time at the Salon, and Babies! LOL! I enjoyed someone else washing my hair besides me!! 🙂 She made me feel comfortable with getting my hair cut. And she Informed me that we can Always take More off! 😉 (Which Really Quelled my Nervousness) The whole appointment went Extremely well. I’d say I spent 45 minutes there at Most. Price Wise- It was Very Generous to My Wallet. The Trip In Total cost $40. For the Services I Received, It Was Well Worth The $30 I Spent!! I had an appointment with Virginia today. She spent time talking with me about the best way to grow out my hair. She suggested a stacked bob and explained how it would look and how we should approach growing it out to a longer bob. When she was finished my hair looked great and I left with a plan for the future. I would definitely recommend Virginia, she’s a pro!
