Been a customer for 20 years Michelle and Shelby are awesome you need to give them both raises!! The only negative i have is the shop is absolutely freezing maybe turn up the heat a little!! Other than that everything else is great! Look forward to booking my next appointment.

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with this salon. Shelby is an amazing stylist. Great communicator spoke with me and helped me understand what I was doing right and wrong with my hair and steered me in the best direction. Peter the owner was extremely personable and I enjoyed speaking with him. Definitely worth taking the chance at getting your hair cut/styled here! Wonderful hair salon!! I took my 85yr old mother here for a cut and color & they did a beautiful job. She unfortunately can’t walk far and can’t sit for too long either…these women that work there went out of their way, to not only make her as comfortable as possible, but beautiful as well. Prices can’t be beat!! We will absolutely be going there from now on. Thanks for such great service!!

I am a new client. I had chemical damage to my hair…breakage. It was cut, and darkened. Too dark…I was unhappy. I waited 3 months…lots of conditioning - I called this morning & explained this to Kathy, who answered the phone. She was empathetic & secured an appointment with Amanda. I was greeted warmly..Amanda went through my hair..& listened to my goals. She did a full head of highlights..which came out amazing. The toner…on point! It truly softened the look of my hair. She trimmed as best she could with the breakage. Reassured me…hair grows back…& I’m doing all to keep it healthy. Michelle helped remove foils…& another staff member helped with getting those broken pieces in the foils. I’m sorry, I didn’t catch your name. The shop was clean..& when they were idle..they cleaned some more. I found overall…these employees…are more than just that. They truly care. They’ve never met me..yet were kind, professional and listened to me & what I wanted to achieve. Mission accomplished Amanda. I will be returning to you. Thank you all. Amazing experience-

Michelle is absolutely terrific! He really wants to know exactly how you want your haircut and does it the way you want. Some stylists do their own thing. Occasionally I asked her to change things up and she's good at that as well. Everybody at the Middle Island lemon tree treat you like family.

After getting an amazing cut by Desiree, I went back to see her for highlights. I was going through a rough patch prior to my cut and color and let me say I feel and look like a new person since I had my hair makeover. I brought my daughter to get a style cut I have never heard if before called Wolfcut ,when I booked the appointment I spoke with Desiree and she was so excited for this cut she told me it's such a fun style and has become so popular and explained to me that parents would know the cut better as a woman's style of the mullet. I was nervous for this cut for my daughter being her natural hair is extremely curly but WOW Desiree did an absolute AMAZING job and my girl is soo happy. I got over 14 inches cut off of my hair, and walked out of the salon feeling brand new. 5 stars for sure. Renee has been doing my hair for years she is absolutely amazing. I love the way she does it and this time I wanted to go almost platinum blonde with highlights. It came out amazing. I highly recommend her for anyone’s styling needs.

Michelle did an absolutely amazing job with my daughters hair!! We went in a few months ago to talk about dying my daughter's hair and she recommended we wait since her hair was damaged from previous treatments. What a professional, she took the time to examine my daughter's hair and recommend us waiting instead of trying to sell us "fixes" and color corrections like other salons! So when I took my daughter in at the beginning of the week to see if she could take a look and see if it had grown out enough she again took the time to look at the hair! She went from dark brown to a vibrant orange/pink hair color and wow!!! Tha k you so much Michelle! I highly recommend the ladies at this lemon tree. Friendly, caring, and you could see the excitement they had for helping my daughter!

I made a appt for a wash and blow out and Michelle was amazing. My hair is really thick and I explained my hair takes a while to dry sometimes it is damp after a blow out. She took rhe time with me and My hair is completely dry and I'm loving how she blew it out. I will def be going back again

It's hard in general to find the perfect hair stylist but when you do it's a blessing. Renee has been not only my stylist for several years but also a friend that I get to tell my life stories to. Went to Riverhead Lemon Tree a couple years ago, had such an awful experience I was very reluctant to use another Lemon Tree. Read the reviews for Middle Island and took a chance. Best thing I've done for my hair! The wait was maybe 5 seconds. I had Renee, and she was the best. I showed her three photos...first, what my hair looked like for years, the style i had after a solid hour of blow drying and straightening. Explained I didn't want to go through the hassle of doing that any more.... that's when I showed her the photo of the style I hoped to achieve when I went to the Riverhead shop....three years ago. A simple cut, mildly curly, (I have natural curls) shoulder length. Then I showed her the photo of what I wound up with... chopped almost to ear length... and the reason I didn't ever want to use a Lemon Tree ever again... it took a full 3 years to get my hair to a length suitable for another cut!! So I said I was hoping for the original style I wanted.... 3 years ago... and she nailed it!!! I now have a manageable cut with natural curls, at the exact length I was looking for. Thank you Renee and Middle Island Lemon Tree! I'll definitely be back!

After getting possibly the two worst haircuts of my entire life at different “upscale” salons in Coram, I had to let my hair grow for several months so that the next cut could undo the hack jobs. I’m grateful to the others who left stellar reviews for this Lemon Tree, because they convinced me to give It a try. They were right. I walked in with hair like a shaggy dog’s—no appointment—and left no more than 30 minutes later with a beautiful, perfect cut. The vibe in the salon was very friendly and welcoming. So happy I took the chance. I won’t go anywhere else from now on. Thanks to Renee for my new ‘do!

I went to this salon and had my hair fixed by Donna. When I came to the salon my hair was cut all uneven. I have a bob haircut and it is black so if you make any wrong cut it is so noticeable. She is the best. For a great cut definitely see Donna.

She knows exactly what color makes me look my best and I have such confidence in her that when she asks what kind of cut I want, I leave it up to her.  She knows current styles and knows what will look best .  I wouldn't go or see anyone else.  Your the best Renee
