Mia absolutely killed it!! This was my first time at Lemon Tree, and I will certainly be back. I got highlights and a cut with bangs and she did so good!! I have never been so happy with my hair, and I am so glad that I found a hairdresser that I can trust. She really listened to everything I wanted, took her time throughout, and followed my inspo pictures for the bangs. She was clearly so experienced and had a lot of knowledge about haircare. She is the queen of highlighting! Would totally recommend her.

She gave me exactly what I wanted and she even recommended some after care and told me how to take care of my hair, since I got a full head of highlights and I have very tick hair, she was so extremely patient with the amount of hair she had to work with!!! Overall the best staff and I definitely will be coming back to Mia, she’s the sweetest!!!

Absolutely amazing service! Mia has got to be the best hairstylist I've been to. I've been to more high end hair salons, but her skills blow theirs out of the water. I've never been dissapointed with her hairstyling skills. She really knows her stuff! I've gotten a perm from her once and another time a hair cut and blowout.

I have been to many different hairstylists at this place and they all give me a great Haircut and the prices are reasonable.

Lemon Tree is a hit or miss, it seems. Like a stepping stone for a gifted stylist or a stylist that just enjoys the art and is content wherever or..that not so talented one in a place where most customers don’t expect the best anyway. But I have to tell you that the couple of times I have been there for basic cuts and coloring, I have not been disappointed. So either I keep getting lucky or it should have a better reputation.

I am blessed to have a full head of hair in my late 50's. It was difficult for me to find a stylist that would provide me with a proper scissor cut haircut. If I wanted a buzz cut I would go to a barder. I don't mind paying more to get the haircut that I am happy with. I consider myself lucky to have found Mia at Lemon Tree Hair Salon in Islip. Mia takes pride in her work and gives me the haircut I requested. I always leave satisfied and smiling after seeing Mia.

Been having my hair done in NYC for decades and paying a fortune. Moved out East and discovered a woman at Lemon Tree in Bay Shore. Yes, Lemon Tree! She gave me the best perm I have ever had. Spent time determining exactly what I wanted and knew exactly how to deliver it while protecting my hair from damage. She works Thurs and Sunday and would rather I didn't mention her name. Just ask for the perm expert and they'll know who you mean. A little hair trim and she got it spot on. Could not be happier with the results.

We walked in today to get my son's hair cut, and Susanne knew exactly the look we wanted for our son. She was very friendly and patient with my 4 year old moving around the whole time. She also had her cute pup named Tina there, which of course my son was in love with. We'll definitely be coming back on Sundays when Susanne and Tina are there. Highly reccomend!

My stylist was Tere and I absolutely loved her work. Very gentle and confident couldn’t have asked for a better haircut. Regained my confidence thanks to her. I hope wherever she goes, she continues to handle her work with Gods hands.

Mia did an absolute amazing job on my hair, when I first went to her my hair was dead and dry to me over processing and bleaching. She saved my hair by giving me a great haircut and products that gave a lot of life to my hair. Today I went for color and she did a fantastic job I love it and it looks so healthy. Plus all of the other staff is so friendly and it’s a very welcoming place.

Teri is the absolute BEST! What can I say other than THANK YOU! I was traveling through Islip and about to visit with family. For some reason I decided to box dye my hair a few nights before and I did it soooo badly. Teri took one look at it and said, "I can fix this" and SHE DID! I feel so lucky to have landed in her chair. You guys, I can't even describe how badly I messed up my own hair and how beautifully Teri fixed it. She did a fantastic job and she did it efficiently. I walked out with beautiful highlights that softened up the whole look and lifted me back to 'blonde'. She worked miracles, I swear. Also, the gal in her chair before me also got color and it was beautiful. That client had never had color and Teri did a beautiful, flawless balayage that looked natural and really suited her skin tone. Can't say enough good things about Teri and her skills as a stylist! I wish her every good thing!

I came in here one day wanting to drastically change my hair. I've always had long hair and wanted a shorter style but didn't really know where to go/how to ask. Never been a 'regular' anywhere. I came in as a walk-in and Teri cut my hair. I wasn't really sure how to explain exactly what I wanted but she listened to me describe how I wanted everything and she did a fantastic job! I now come back every month to get cut by her.

I have been meaning to write this for a while- but life seemed to get in the way again. I went in with really long hair and no real idea what I wanted to do with it. Michele helped me decide on a length and she did an amazing job. This is seriously one of the best haircuts I have ever gotten. I normally just threw my hair up in a messy bun or pony tail, but now I'm able to wear it down and it just looks great! I've gotten so many compliments! Will definitely be coming back.

If you want a great cut and color Terry is the hairstylist to go to. She takes her time, does an amazing color and cut. Very pleasant and love our conversations! I went from should length hair to short and I was a little nervous about it but she she did a great job and I get so many compliments. She is the best!!

I went to LemonTree recently because my friend had her hair done by Mia and it looked great. I had a cut, highlights and keratin treatment done by Mia. My hair came out beautiful! I look like I walked out of a high end salon! I have very thick hair and Mia spent time on every section and layer of my hair. Mia was very professional and courteous. I plan on returning every month to have my hair done.

My former salon ended up closing due to COVID and I was at a loss where to go. I was honestly skeptical of trying the Lemon Tree, because lower prices often equal lesser quality, but I decided to give them a try anyway. I'm SO glad I did! My hair is the healthiest it has ever been. Mia gave me highlights and took great care not to damage my hair further and she recommended the best products to use for my overall hair health. It's a month later and I'm still thrilled. Looking forward to going back for a touch up (and I am not usually one that looks forward to going to the salon)!
